Sachin is interested in the following broad research topics:

Sachin’s work in theoretical neuroscience is based on the application of tools from dynamical systems, signal processing and system identification to study brain function. The systems research has focused on dynamics of pathological hippocampal neural circuitry of an experimental animal model of temporal lobe epilepsy.

Sachin’s work in machine learning has primarily based on the investigating neural network (including deep learning) algorithms for object recognition and time series analysis.
